| Mirela Magniani competes in the javelin. She is an athlete of Olympiakos club and her trainer is Vassilis Kokolis. She was born on the 21st December 1976 in Albania. She competed for the first time with the National Team of Greece in 1997 in the World Championship held in Athens. Since then, she has followed an impressive course. She won the gold medal breaking the world record with a throw of 67.09m in the World Championship held in Seville in 1999. A year later, she won the silver medal in the Sidney Olympics in 2000 breaking the pan Hellenic record with a throw of 67,51m. |
