Ολυμπιακοί Αγώνες
Επίσημη τελετή έναρξης των 5ων Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων της Στοκχόλμης, οι οποίοι όμως έχουν ξεκινήσει από τις 5 Μαίου και θα τελειώσουν στις 22 Ιουλίου. Στους αγώνες λαμβάνουν μέρος 2.490 αθλητές και 57 αθλήτριες από 5 ηπείρους, 28 κράτη σε 15 αθλήματα. Για πρώτη φορά χρησιμοποιείται ηλεκτρική χρονομέτρηση στους αγώνες δρόμου
The 5th Olympic Games opening ceremony takes place in Stockholm. The games started on May 5 and finished on the 22th of July. 2.490 men and 57 women from 28 countries (for the first time the 5 continents were represented) took part in 15 events. Electric chronometers were first used
