Αποφυλακίζεται μετά από 19 χρόνια ο Rubin “Hurricane” Carter. Ο 48χρονος πυγμάχος των μεσαίων βαρών είχε καταδικαστεί για τριπλό φόνο το 1966. Η ιστορία του Carter θα γυριστεί σε ταινία το 2000 από τον Norman Jewison με τίτλο ”The Hurricane” και τον Denzel Washington στον πρωταγωνιστικό ρόλο. Στο μεταξύ, το 1976, ο Bob Dylan κυκλοφόρησε το ομώνυμο τραγούδι μέσα στο LP “Desire”
Rubin “Hurricane” Carter is set free after 19 years of imprisonment. 48-year-old heavy weight champion was convicted of a triple murder in 1966 and his story, ''The Hurricane'', will be filmed in 2000 by Norman Jewison, with Denzel Washington in the leading role. Meanwhile, in 1976, Bob Dylan released the song with the same title, included in his LP “Desire”
