Ανοίγει τις πύλες του το “Εστάντ ντελ Μπαρτσελόνα” (το Στάδιο της Μπαρτσελόνα), το μεγαλύτερο γήπεδο της Ευρώπης χωρητικότητας 99.354 θέσεων με τον φιλικό αγώνα Μπαρτσελόνα – Λέγκια Βαρσοβίας 4-2. Το πρώτο γκολ στο νέο γήπεδο σημειώνει ο Εουλόγκιο Μαρτίνεζ στο 11ο λεπτό. Το 1982 η χωρητικότητά του θα αυξηθεί σε 120.000 θέσεις για τις ανάγκες του Παγκοσμίου Κυπέλλου ενώ το 2000 θα μετονομαστεί σε Καμπ Νου (νέο γήπεδο)
Estadi del Barcelona (the Stadium of Barcelona), the biggest stadium in Europe with 99.354 seats, is inaugurated with the friendly football match Barcelona - Legia Warsaw 4-2 and Eulogio Martinez scores the first goal on the 11th minute. In 1982 its seating capacity will be expanded to 120.000 seats for the needs of the World Cup, hosted by Spain, and in 2000 it will be renamed to "Camp Nou (new stadium)"
