Πυγμαχία
Κυκλοφορεί το “When We Were Kings”, ένα ντοκιμαντέρ για τον αγώνα πρωταθλήματος της κατηγορίας βαρέων βαρών μεταξύ του πρωταθλητή George Foreman και του Muhammad Ali στο Ζαϊρ. Το καστ, εκτός των δύο πυγμάχων, περιλαμβάνει τον τραγουδιστή της soul James Brown, τον τραγουδιστή των blues B.B.King, τον Πρόεδρο του Ζαϊρ, Mobutu Sese Seko, τον σκηνοθέτη, παραγωγό, και ηθοποιό Spike Lee και τον συγγραφέα Norman Mailer, ο οποίος έγραψε το βιβλίο “Rumble in the Jungle”.
“When We Were Kings” is released, a documentary of the 1974 heavyweight championship bout between champion George Foreman and challenger Muhammad Ali in Zaire. The cast features the two boxers and soul singer James Brown, blues singer B.B.King, President of Zaire, Mobutu Sese Seko, film director, producer, writer and actor Spike Lee and author Norman Mailer, who wrote the book “Rumble in the Jungle”.
