Ο Γκάρι Κασπάροβ νικά τον τραγουδιστή Sting και 4 μέλη του συγκροτήματός του (τον κιθαρίστα Dominic Miller, τον πιανίστα Jason Rebello, τον τρομπετίστα Chris Botti και τον Russ Irwin που κάνει τα φωνητικά) σε 45 κινήσεις σε έναν αγώνα σιμουλτανέ στην αυλαία του Παγκόσμιου Σχολικού Πρωταθλήματος Σκάκι. Ο αγώνας διεξάγεται και μεταδίδεται από τα στούντιο της ABC-TV και προβάλλεται στην γιγανταία οθόνη της Times Square.
Gary Kasparov beats Sting, the singer, and four of his bandmates (guitarist Dominic Miller, keyboardist Jason Rebello, trumpet player Chris Botti and vocalist Russ Irwin) in 45 moves in a simultaneous friendly match on the end of the World School Chess Championships. The match is played and televised by ABC-TV studios in Times Square and shown on the Jumbotron video screen.
