Ολυμπιακοί Αγώνες
Εξίμισυ χρόνια μετά τους Ολυμπιακούς της Αθήνας, ξεκινά η δίκη του Κώστα Κεντέρη και της Κατερίνας Θάνου στην Ευελπίδων, απόντων και των δύο. Η απόφαση που θα βγει στις 10/5 κρίνει ένοχους όλους τους εμπλεκόμενους στο τροχαίο ατύχημα και επιβάλει φυλάκιση 33 μηνών με πρόστιμο 5.000 ευρώ στον Χρήστο Τζέκο, 31 μηνών στον Κώστα Κεντέρη και στην Κατερίνα Θάνου και 6-8 μηνών στους επτά γιατρούς του ΚΑΤ. Την επόμενη χρονιά, το δικαστήριο που θα εκδικάσει την έφεση των δύο Ολυμπιονικών, θα τους κρίνει αθώους.
6 years and a half after the Athens Olympic Games, the trial of Kostas Kenteris and Katerina Thanou, the Greek Olympic medal holders of Sydney, begins in Athens. The verdict will be announced on 10/5 and all involved in the motor accident will be sentenced to incarceration, i.e. coach Christos Tzekos for 33, Kenteris and Thanou for 31 and the 7 doctors for 6-8 months. One year later, the court following their appeal, will exempt them of all charges.
