O Βραζιλιάνος πορτιέρε, Ροτζέριο Σένι, παρά το γεγονός πως η θέση του ήταν τερματοφύλακας, σημειώνει το 63ο του προσωπικό γκολ για την Sao Paulo επί της Cruzeiro Esporte Clube, λίγο μετά την απόκρουσή του σε πέναλτι των αντιπάλων. Λίγο αργότερα στον αγώνα, θα σημειώσει και άλλο τέρμα, φτάνοντας τα 64, ξεπερνώντας κατά 2 τον Παραγουανό José Luis Chilavert. Μεταξύ 1997 και 2015 και σε 1257 επίσημους αγώνες θα καταφέρει να σκοράρει 131 τέρματα με εκτελέσεις φάουλ και πέναλτι. Θα αναγνωριστεί από την International Federation of Football History & Statistics ως ο τερματοφύλακας που έχει σκοράρει τα περισσότερα γκολ στην ιστορία του ποδοφαίρου.
Brazilian goalkeeper Rogerio Ceni scores his 63rd and record-breaking goal by netting a free kick for Sao Paulo against Cruzeiro Esporte Clube in the domestic league, a few minutes after denying a penalty to the opposition. Later in the match, he will score another goal from the spot and taking his total to 64, putting him two goals ahead of the previous holder, Paraguayan José Luis Chilavert. He will score 131 goals during his 25-year-career (1257 professional club matches) with most of them coming from free kicks and penalties and one coming from open play. He will be recognised by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics as the goalkeeper to have scored the most goals in the history of football.
