Ο Νορβηγός επιθετικός της Manchester City Erling Haaland, κατατκά το “Χρυσό Παπούτσι” έχοντας 36 γκολ και 72 βαθμούς, μπροστά από τον Άγγλο επιθετικό της Tottenham Hotspur Harry Kane (30 γκολ, 60 βαθμοί) και τον Γάλλο στράικερ της Paris Saint Germain, Kylian Mbape (29 γκολ, 58 βαθμοί) και γίνεται ο τρίτος παίκτης της City μετά τον Sergio Aguero (26 γκολ)το 2014-15 και τον Carlos Tevez (20 γκολ) το 2010-11. Ο Haaland, λίγες ημέρες νωρίτερα, είχε σπάσει το ρεκόρ των περισσοτέρων γκολ σε μία σεζόν όταν σκόραρε το 35ο του γκολ εναντίον της West Ham.
Erling Haaland wins the 2022/23 Premier League Golden Boot, awarded to the player that has scored most goals in the season. The Norwegian hit a record breaking 36 goals this season, finishing six ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane. He becomes City’s third winner in the history of the Premier League after Sergio Aguero’s 26-goal haul in 2014/15 and Carlos Tevez’s 20 in 2010/11 that saw him share the award with Dimitar Berbatov. Haaland has set a new record for most goals in a single campaign with his 35th goal of the league campaign against West Ham earlier in May.
