Η βρετανική αυτοκινητοβιομηχανία Rolls Royce κηρύσσει πτώχευση. Η ιστορική εταιρεία που ιδρύθηκε τον Δεκέμβριο του 1904 από τον Charles Rolls και τον Fredrick Henry Royce και είχε σαν έμβλημα το Spirit of Ecstasy, έργο του Charles Sykes, θα αγοραστεί από το κράτος αλλά το 1987 θα επιστρέψει σε ιδιώτες και το 2003 θα καταλήξει στην BMW
