36-year-old Andre Kirk Agassi, the former World No. 1 professional tennis player from the United States retires from tennis after losing to German Benjamin Becker at the 3rd round of the US Open with 3-1 sets (5-7, 7-6, 4-6, 5-7). He is one of only five male players to have won all four Grand Slam singles events during his career. He has won the Tennis Masters Cup, has been part of a winning Davis Cup team, and has won an Olympic gold medal. He has won 17 ATP Masters Series tournaments, more than any other player.
