Η Bayern Munchen κερδίζει την Sporting CP με 7-1 και με το 5-0 που είχε κερδίσει στον πρώτο αγώνα κάνει το 12-1. Η διαφορά των 11 γκολ δημιουργεί ρεκόρ για την μεγαλύτερη διαφορά σε φάση knock-out στο Champions League. Το προηγούμενο ρεκόρ ανήκε στην Olympique Lyon που είχε αποκλείσει την Werden Bremen με το συνολικό 10-2 (0-3 στις 23/2/2005 και 7-2 στις 8/3/2005).
Bayern Munchen beat Sporting CP 7-1 after having won the first leg 5-0. The aggregate goal difference of 11 goals is the biggest margin in the knockout phase of the Champions League. The previous record was held by Olympique Lyon when they knocked out Werden Bremen by an aggregate score of 10-2 (0-3 on 23/2/2005 and 7-2 on 8/3/2005).
