Irish cyclist Willie Hume demonstrates the supremacy of John Dunlop’s newly invented pneumatic tyres by winning the tyre’s first ever races in Ireland and England. Being the captain of the “Belfast Cruisers Cycling Club”, he is the first member of the public to purchase a “safety bicycle” fitted with Dunlop’s tyres.
