Ολυμπιακοί Αγώνες
Στο Στάδιο “Χάτσμπυ” στην Αλεξάνδρεια της Αιγύπτου κατά τη διάρκεια των Παναιγυπτιακών Αγώνων που οργανώθηκαν για τον εορτασμό της 20ης επετείου από την επανίδρυση των Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων, υψώνεται για πρώτη φορά η λευκή σημαία με τους 5 Ολυμπιακούς Κύκλους που σχεδιάστηκε το 1913 από τον βαρώνο Pierre de Coubertin. Την ίδια χρονιά θα γίνει η έπαρση της Σημαίας στην Σορβόννη κατά το Ολυμπιακό Συνέδριο ενώ η επίσημη σημαία θα κάνει το ντεμπούτο της στους Αγώνες της Αμβέρσας το 1920.
The white flag with the 5 coloured rings is raised for the first time in Chatby stadium in Alexandria, Egypt during the Pan-Egyptian Games, organized to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the reestablishment of the Olympic Games. The rings were drawn by Pierre de Coubertin in 1913 and would be unveiled for the first time at the 1914 Olympic Congress in Paris. They will make their Olympic games debut at the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp on the official Olympic flag.
