Ο Σίνισα Μιχαΐλοβιτς, ένας από τους καλύτερους παίκτες του σερβικού ποδοσφαίρου πεθαίνει σε ηλικία 53 ετών στο νοσοκομείο της Ρώμης, μετά από μάχη με τη λευχαιμία. Είχε αγωνιστεί με τις Βοϊβοντίνα, Ερυθρό Αστέρα, Σαμπντόρια, Ρόμα, Ιντερ, και Λάτσιο κερδίζοντας 2 πρωταθλήματα Ιταλίας και ένα Κύπελλο Κυπελλούχων, ενώ ως προπονητής είχε καθίσει στον πάγκο των Κατάνια, Μπολόνια, Φιορεντίνα, Εθνική Σερβίας, Μίλαν, και Τορίνο.
Legendary footballer Sinisa Mihajlovic dies at the age of 53 after a battle with leukemia. Mihajlovic will go down as a legendary figure in Italian football having played for Roma, Lazio, Sampdoria and Inter Milan - winning two Serie A titles and four Coppa Italias in the process. He also went on to add the UEFA Super Cup and UEFA Cup Winners' Cup to his collection in Italy. The 63-capped Yugoslavian international took the reins at numerous Italian clubs including Catania, Fiorentina, Sampdoria, AC Milan, Torino and two spells with Bologna. He also managed Sporting Lisbon and the Serbia national team.
