Ένας από τους μεγαλύτερους μάνατζερ παικτών στο χώρο του μπάσκετ ειδικά τη δεκαετία του ’90 και του 2000, ο Λουτσιάνο Καπικιόνι, πεθαίνει σε ηλικία 75 ετών. Ήταν ο ατζέντης πίσω από την καριέρα τεράστιων ονομάτων στο ευρωπαϊκό μπάσκετ, όπως οι Σαμπόνις, Κούκοτς, Ντανίλοβιτς, Τζινόμπιλι, Γιασικεβίτσιους, ενώ είχε συνεργαστεί και με τον Θοδωρή Παπαλουκά για ένα διάστημα. Είχε επίσης θέση αντιπροέδρου της Ολυμπιακής Επιτροπής του Σαν Μαρίνο (από όπου καταγόταν) μεταξύ του 1979 και του 1984 ενώ ήταν αυτός που ίδρυσε την ομοσπονδία του μπέιζμπολ στην χώρα αυτή.
Top European agent Luciano Capicchioni, the man behind the careers of Toni Kukoc, Arvdyas Sabonis, Manu Ginobili, Sasha Danilovic, Zan Tabak, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Theodoros Papaloukas, among many other names, dies at the age of 75. Capicchioni served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Interperformances agency, while his contribution to the sports community extended past basketball. He served as the Vice-Chairman of the San Marino Olympic Committee from 1979 to 1984, during the Moscow and Los Angeles Olympic Games, and was named the Head of Delegation of the San Marino Olympic Committee for the 1980 Moscow Olympics.
