Οι Νίκος Πολυχρονόπουλος και Κώστας Κοκκόρης ανεβαίνουν στο υψηλότερο σκαλί του βάθρου κατακτώντας το πρώτο χρυσό μετάλλιο στην ιστορία της Ελλάδας στο Ευρωπαϊκό Πρωτάθλημα Τρισπόντων Εθνικών Ομάδων που διεξάγεται στην Αττάλεια της Τουρκίας. Το ελληνικό δίδυμο θριάμβευσε στον τελικό επί των Σουηδών, Μπλόμνταλ / Νίλσον στο scotch doubles (tie break) έπειτα από συγκλονιστική εμφάνιση με 14 καραμπόλες σερί.
Nikos Polychronopoulos and Kostas Kokkoris climb to the highest step of the podium by winning the first gold medal in the history of Greece at the European Billiards Team Championship held in Antalya, Turkey. The Greek duo triumphed in the final of the 3-Cushion Men's National Teams competition over the Swedes, Blomdahl / Nilsson in the scotch doubles (tie break) after a sensational performance with 14 points in a row.
