Ποδόσφαιρο
Παραιτείται ο Franco Carraro, ο πρόεδρος της Ιταλικής Ομοσπονδίας Ποδοσφαίρου (FIGC) και τρεις μέρες μετά, παραιτείται σύσσωμο το ΔΣ της Γιουβέντους, ενώ οι η αξία της μετοχής της ομάδας στο Χρηματιστήριο θα φθάσει την 19/5 ακριβώς στα μισά της αξίας της 9ης Μαϊου, εξ αιτίας του σκανδάλου για τα «στημένα» παιχνίδια στο ιταλικό πρωτάθλημα, που ξεσκεπάζει η ιταλική αστυνομία. Τελικά στη Μίλαν, στη Λάτσιο, στη Φιορεντίνα και στη Ρετζίνα θα αφαιρεθούν βαθμοί, ενώ η Γιουβέντους θα υποβιβαστεί στην Β’ κατηγορία και 12 κορυφαίοι παίκτες της θα πάρουν μεταγραφή
