Ο Χαράλαμπος (Μπάμπης) Πιτσώλης του Γυμναστικού Συλλόγου Ιλισός αναδεικνύεται νικητής του 39ου Αυθεντικού Μαραθωνίου της Αθήνας με χρόνο 2:23.42. Την πρώτη θέση στις γυναίκες κατακτά η Βασιλική Κωνσταντινοπούλου, αθλήτρια του ΑΠΚ Νεάπολης, σημειώνοντας ατομικό ρεκόρ με χρόνο 2:46.01. O 91χρονος Στέλιος Πρασσιάς είναι για μία ακόμα χρονιά ο γηραιότερος συμμετέχων στην διοργάνωση
Charalambos (Babis) Pitsolis of the Ilisos Gymnastics Club is the winner of the 39th Authentic Athens Marathon with 2:23.42. Vasiliki Konstantinopoulou, athlete of APK Neapolis, is the first lady to finish, setting an individual record with 2:46.01. 91-year-old Stelios Prassias is still the oldest participant in the race.
