Ιπποδρομία
Ο μεγαλοϊδιοκτήτης και ιπποπαραγωγός Θεόδωρος Νάνος πεθαίνει σε ηλικία 65 ετών. Από το 2005, συνέδεσε το όνομά του με τις ελληνικές ιπποδρομίες. Με πάνω από 120 ίππους στο ενεργητικό του, με ένα ιπποφορβείο πρότυπο και με ένα σταύλο κόσμημα για τον χώρο των ιπποδρομιών καθιερώθηκε ως ένας από τους μεγαλύτερους και πιο επιτυχημένους ιδιοκτήτες της εποχής. Τα αποτελέσματα φυσικά δεν άργησαν να έρθουν, με την κατάκτηση πλειάδας μεγάλων ιπποδρομιών και 2 Ντέρμπυ (το 2006 με τον ίππο Πάρφορο και το 2009 με τον ίππο Γκρέντις Κεν). Υπήρξε μέτοχος σε πολλές εταιρείες, Δ/νων Σύμβουλος μάλιστα για ένα διάστημα της Ιντρασόφτ, ενώ έγινε και εκδότης, μαζί με τον Αντώνη Πίκουλα, της οικονομικής εφημερίδας “Αξία”.
The big owner and horse producer Theodoros Nanos dies at the age of 65. Since 2005 his name was associated with Greek horse racing. With over 120 horsepower to his credit, with a standard horse-drawn carriage and a jewel stable for the racecourse, he established himself as one of the largest and most successful owners of the era. The results, of course, did not take long to come, with the conquest of a number of big races and 2 Derbies (in 2006 with the horse Parforos and in 2009 with the horse Gradis Ken). He was a shareholder in many companies, Managing Director of Intrasoft, and publisher, together with Antonis Pikoulas, of the financial newspaper "Axia".
